Record the race. Keep the time. See the progress.
SwimReel saves the race video the moment you stop recording, then keeps it with the swimmer, the meet, the event and the official time. Later, find any race in seconds and see exactly how much faster they got.

One hand, a loud pool, a race that lasts seconds. SwimReel keeps the first step to a single tap and lets everything else wait until you have a minute.
Tap Record a swim, film the race, tap Stop. The clip is saved on your iPhone right away and waits under Needs details until you add the swimmer, event and time. Set the event before the race if you like.

Small numbers. Real progress.
Every official time you enter becomes part of a history you can read at a glance: the personal best, the latest swim, and a chart that shows the season's direction.
The previous time, the best before this swim, and the difference in seconds.
Only the same swimmer, stroke, distance, pool course and race type. Relay splits stay separate.
A target time and a date, with the time still to go and the days left.
You enter the official result. SwimReel never times races from video or predicts the future.
Everything about that race
A clip in your camera roll can't tell you which meet it was or what time they swam. In SwimReel, every race is one record: the video, the official time, the meet, the heat and lane, your notes, and the photos you took of the heat sheet or the results board.
Attach the heat sheet, the results board or the scoreboard, up to 30 photos a swim, and zoom in on the small print.
Set the pool, stroke, distance, heat and lane on the camera screen. The form after the race opens filled in.
A meet keeps its pool, and new videos go into today's meet automatically.
Mark a finals swim, add notes for later, and fix anything any time.

For the family who couldn't be there
A grandparent asks how it went. The other parent is at a different meet. Open the swim and send it, without scrolling through your whole camera roll.
Never your whole library. Recipients don't need the app.
Send the video exactly as recorded, or a 720p copy for email and texts when that's meaningfully smaller. The copy carries no location.
One swim, or every video at once from Settings.
A full backup of swims, results, notes, photos and videos to the Files app, restorable on another iPhone.
A shared family library, so both parents can add swims to one library, is planned for a future update.
