A familiar match day

The questions that
follow you courtside.

“Wait—what’s the score?”

Games, deuce, tiebreaks, who serves next. Tap who won each point and TennisTrack keeps all of it, with the server’s button lit up. Fault records a missed first serve; Undo fixes a mis-tap.

See the scoreboard

“They lost. But how did they play?”

The score leaves out the points behind it. See points won on serve and on return, break points converted and saved, first and second serve, and the runs that turned the match.

Look beyond the result

“What should I tell their coach?”

Send the match instead of trying to remember it: two clear pictures with the score and the stats, and your notes for the coach as the message. Your private notes stay private.

A closer look

Be a parent first.
Keep as much detail
as you want.

Simple scoring is one tap per point. Switch to Detailed whenever you like, even mid-match, to add how a point was won. Every detail is optional, and nothing is saved until you tap Save Point.

Keep the score out of your head.

Tap who won. The score, the next server and the side they serve from stay in one view, and the server’s button lights up. Fault records a missed first serve; Undo takes back the last tap.

In this example, Alex won 63% of return points and 55% of service points, and saved 4 of 7 break points. That’s a specific conversation about serving and returning; it doesn’t diagnose technique.

After the final point

A better starting point
than “How did you do?”

The final score tells you who won. The points you record show what happened on serve, on return, and at the moments that decided it.

  • Serve and return, side by side.

Points won on serve and on return, service games held, and break points converted and saved.

  • First and second serve.

First serve in, and points won behind each serve, counted from your Fault taps.

  • Momentum.

Every game of every set, the breaks, and the runs that turned the match.

  • Only what you recorded.

Anything you didn’t track shows as not recorded, never as zero.

For the coach who wasn’t there

Send the coach
the whole match.

Choose Score only or Full stats. Full stats arrives as two clear pictures: the score and the match in numbers, then shots, errors and momentum. Write notes for the coach and they go as the message. Coaches don’t need the app to read any of it.

  • Two pictures, made for a phone.

Big, readable numbers the coach can open in Messages or email. Look at each one larger before you send.

  • Notes for the coach, and notes for you.

Keep private notes and coach notes separately. Only coach notes are ever sent, and only when you turn them on.

  • Initials for junior privacy.

Swap names for initials before you share.

  • Every number, if they want it.

PDF and CSV reports with everything you recorded.

You choose what to send and where. Nothing is shared automatically, and no coach account is needed.

Every match lands in your player’s matchbook: record, win rate and recent form, with serve and return numbers across matches. Keep each tournament’s matches together, remember opponents, and add past results when you only have the score.

Before the next lesson, open last weekend’s match and pick up the conversation where the coach left off.

Good to know

A few courtside
questions.

Something else on your mind?
Say hello

Do I have to record every shot?

No. Simple scoring is one tap per point. Switch to Detailed any time, even mid-match, to add how points were won. Every detail is optional.

What happens if I tap the wrong player?

Use Undo to remove the last point, then enter it again. The score and serving order are worked out again from the points that remain.

What does the coach receive?

Whatever you choose to send: the score alone, or full stats as two pictures, with your notes for the coach as the message. Coaches don’t need the app. PDF and CSV reports are there for anyone who wants every number.

Are my private notes ever shared?

No. Private notes never appear in shared pictures or text, and notes for the coach go only when you turn them on. A match’s PDF includes that match’s notes, and full backups include all notes, so share those with care.

Does it support singles and doubles?

Yes, with advantage or no-ad games, 7-point set tiebreaks and 10-point match tiebreaks.

Do I need an account or internet connection to score?

No account is needed, and scoring works with no signal. Sharing through other apps may need a connection.

How much does TennisTrack cost?

It’s free to download. Starting new matches needs a subscription: $3.99 a month or $24.99 a year in the U.S., each with a one-month free trial for eligible new subscribers. Matches you’ve saved stay yours without one, and Family Sharing covers your family.

Can I record a rating like UTR or WTN?

You can type each player’s UTR at the time of a match, and opponent ratings by hand. Live WTN lookup isn’t available at launch.

When can I download it?

TennisTrack is in App Store review. A download link will appear here as soon as it’s live.
